I really love the original Paradroid on C64 but the emulation on Wii is kind of slugish as the sprite collision detection doesn't work as it should be (and as it did in the original version).

Therefore as your unit collide with an enemy robot both sprites will 'glue' together and start flickering on the screen until one lose it's energy.

This is very annoying and I can't recommend buying this game... which is a shame 'cause the original is still one of my all-time favs !!!

Have to agree, it's a classic. The atmosphere is phenomenal - from the "sound" of the decks to the tension as you open a door and go into a new section; what robots are lurking in there, and can you survive? The transfer section is one of the BEST mini-games/subgames ever.
