I'm not sure the Rebel reveal was a twist. After a couple of mentions, I thought "Hmm... knows how to mess with electronics... That annoying kid hasn't been in the show for a while."

And I'm still watching, but I doubt I will be for much longer.

Heroes still has some very good twists and turns (like the identity of Rebel, or the flashback episodes) under the flashiness... I'm still watching.

I agree Craig, I was very interested in the show for the first season but lost it soon after. I'd rather read a good comic. Cheack out my windows Live Space if you want to see what I'm talking about. No need for superhero's. Just good Quality reading and a feast for the eyes!

Thing is, almost all those characters you mention are distinctly b-list. None of the leads are gone. Ali Larter may be a case in point in terms of characters, but, hey, bring in the clones! As for Nathan/Sylar, Nathan's dead for now, but I bet they'll find some way to bring him back in the next season as a separate entity.

I've found the whole thing pretty tiresome of late, and the only reason I keep watching is because it fills a tea-time sized gap and nothing better was around. Sad that it doesn't even come close to matching half-decent comics, though.

The "no deaths in Heroes" meme is old though and people were complaining about it in season two. Besides, we've had a whole load of people written out in season three who had reasonable followings (eg Claire's real mom, Adam, Matt's dad, Daphne, Elle). Nathan's dead and not coming back, even if he's now Sylar. So it's not even especially true. And while it may be true that Ali Larter stayed, her original character is well and truly dead. Is the complaint about the characters or the actors? Can viewers not tell the difference?

Season four is apparently going back to the season one basics we all want of real people with powers in the real world, too. So stick with it and try to forget volume three....
